Episode Two - True Life: I have a Horrible Tribe

I'm not happy. Not at all. I'll admit that I failed last round by self-voting, but it may be for the better. If I hadn't, I'd be the only one on this tribe that was flawless so far.

I'm disappointed in this tribe's showing for the second challenge. I would think that we would have a little bit of a chip on our shoulder after losing the last challenge, but I guess I got that one all wrong. I swear, the thing this tribe needs more than anything is a little bit of weeding. If we take a few people out of the mix, we might be able to compete. Until then, we may be an utter embarrassment to this game and to ourselves. I'm I being harsh too early? Maybe... But if some things don't change, it's all going to be the truth.

We'll see how things unfold.

The more I think about this, the more frustrated I get. Kelly, Russell, and Shannon are all absolute jokes on this tribe. I mean it. They're pathetic. Brett, on the other hand, could've and would've been very valuable to us in this challenge. However, because my tribe has a one-dimensional way of viewing things in this game, Brett isn't around to help, and we're stuck carrying around three dead weights. As far as I'm concerned, we can throw the next three challenges. Those three need to go, and they need to go now, in my opinion. Being down in numbers ten to six really wouldn't be that bad. We're more or less already in that boat.

Anyway, I'm really looking for an opportunity to pursue as far as an alliance goes. I'm probably closest to John right now, but I can see him differing in strategical opinion. I think Laura might be a viable option because I don't think she has a dominant personality -- one like I do -- and I think we could work well together. Monica, Erik, and Dave are also really good people, but I don't know if I really want to align with them. I'm not sure. As of now, Laura may be my best option. We'll see.

I'll write more later. Hopefully next time I can write about the immunity we won.
